About this Project

The new Galveston Fire Station No. 1 is designed to withstand inevitable future hurricanes while also contributing to the architectural character of this historic Texas city. The 27,000 sq. ft, three-story building includes offices, living space, training and conference rooms, as well as four 100’ deep apparatus bays. This project required the demolition of the existing fire station which was an annex of Galveston City Hall.
